Are You Really Committed?
Most people’s initial response to that question is, “Of course, I’m a committed person.” How often do you re-examine your commitments? Let’s start with the definition of commitment:
Mindfulness MeditationMindfulness meditation is often confused with other forms of meditation. The main target when concentrating is to try and focus on a particular part of the body or the min, to reach a target and develop a certain ability. Activity like “Thai-chi” and “Yoga”, are all forms of concentration. Mindfulness meditation however is different, Its purpose is to completely free the mind of any thoughts, relaxing the body to such an extent that every thoughts disappear. This state can last anything from a few seconds to many hours in depending from your ability. To reach the highness of spirituality, you must reach the highness of purity in your mind.
How To Increase Your Mental AlertnessAbsentmindedness is a huge problem for many people. It can be very frustrating, embarrassing and sometimes downright dangerous. Do you have trouble staying focused on the task at hand? Have you ever walked into a room, stopped, and couldn’t remember why you went there? Do not fret, you are not alone. This happens to many people, young and old. Luckily, there is help and if you are not taking advantage of it yet, then you should start today.
There’s Something Wrong With My ThinkingToo easily we are overwhelmed by the comprehensiveness of such a task: to address our thinking. We can only do it one day at a time. Turning the problem into an opportunity is easy. We can manage this thing day by day as we rely on God and learn and relearn, with studious tenacity, the character trait of humility.
Is There a Reward for Righteous Living? If you have made great effort to live a life where you try to be kind and helpful to other people, but you do not always get thanks, I have good news. You may be doing good and it may often feel that you are not appreciated, but do not despair. Continue to do the best you can do, one day you will see the fruits of your labour. One point I would add is that you should continue to improve yourself, and study to improve your abilities. Use every negative experience as a lesson, decide to learn lessons, and be positive and build on your successes.
